A thunderstorm cell discharged on Thursday in the early morning hours, especially over Bad Heilbrunn.
For over an hour there was lightning, thunder and, above all, heavy rain.
The result: flooded lanes and operations for the fire brigades.
Bad Heilbrunn - Around 3 a.m., the first lightning bolts lit up the night.
A little later, the loud thunder should have woken most of them from their sleep.
The thunderstorm cell then discharged over the Loisach valley for over an hour and a half.
In Bad Heilbrunn it was pouring out of buckets.
Bundesstraße 11 is flooded, the road between Mürnsee and Kiensee is not passable
The Mürnsee fire brigade was on duty from 4.45 a.m.
“We drove three or four times,” says Commander Thomas Girgnhuber.
The roadway near Kiensee was under water.
The federal road 11 was also flooded between Reindlschmiede and Kiensee.
In the direction of Schönrain, the roadway of the B11 had practically turned into a lake.
"I've never seen that before," says Girgnhuber.
"Currently, however, all roads should be free again."
Streets are also flooded in Heilbrunn itself
The people of Mürnsee also went back to Schönrain to help the local fire brigade pumping out a cellar.

But the heavy rain also caused flooding in Heilbrunn itself.
The road in Oberenzenau was flooded, as was the Bierhäuslweg and the nearby roundabout.
The Heilbrunn fire brigade was on duty here.
The Obersteinbach emergency services also had to deal with water on the street.
