The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, believes that the Nicaraguan government delegitimized the November 7 presidential election by launching a campaign of persecution against the opposition and its main leaders.

Almagro also calls for action to be taken in an interview with Fernando del Rincón.
