Recently, the Hong Kong-made film "Drifting in the Dirty Waters" was shown in front of the audience, presenting the true stories of street sleepers in Sham Shui Po. The homeless behind the scenes are facing difficulties under the epidemic. Does anyone care?
As the Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, the volunteer team of the Hong Kong Association of Community Organizations and the anti-epidemic product brand C-Force made a special trip to Tongzhou Street Park tonight (10th) to distribute a total of about 300 Dragon Boat Festival supplies to the homeless. You can feel the festive atmosphere.

It’s not unusual to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival by eating rice dumplings with family members, but for the homeless, this picture is not easy to come by.
At about 7pm this evening, about 20 "C-FORCE" volunteers came to the association site to pack the Dragon Boat Festival supplies together. They saw that they packed the Dragon Boat Festival rice dumplings, masks, disinfectant, paper-packed drinks and fruits in plastic bags. The volunteer team departed at about 8 o'clock and sent a cart of supplies to the adjacent Tongzhou Street Park for distribution. During the period, the response was overwhelming. About 300 supplies were distributed in about an hour.
In addition to the street sleepers, the volunteer team has seen the outbreak of upper respiratory tract infections in many schools recently and the vaccine has not yet benefited children. In addition, the grassroots families affected by the epidemic have also brought a heavy burden on the expenditure of epidemic prevention supplies. This morning, there was also a joint social association. Grassroots families distribute supplies.
A total of 60,000 masks, 800 hand sanitizers, and more than 400 copies of the Dragon Boat Festival rice dumplings were distributed during the event. It is estimated that more than 1,000 people have benefited.
