Today, the Italian Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 2,079 new infections and 88 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the total number of HIV infections in the country rose to 4,239,868, while the total number of deaths reached 126,855.
Italy is the eighth country in the world in terms of the number of HIV infections and the seventh in terms of the number of deaths from it.
