This Thursday afternoon, the worst hypothesis about the end of little

Anna and Olivia, aged 1 and 6,

was confirmed

.

The oldest of the sisters, who disappeared on April 27 in Tenerife after their father

Tomás Gimeno

did not return them to their mother at the agreed time, was found dead late in the afternoon.

The ship

Ángeles Alvariño

, from the Spanish Institute of Oceonography,

located the lifeless body of the older girl in the sea and thus all hopes were shattered.

According to sources in the investigation, the ship ran into an anchor stranded at the bottom of the sea, tied to it were

two bags,

which the underwater robot Liropus hoisted to the deck.

One of those bags was empty and the body of Olivia Gimeno was found in the other.

After their disappearance, the girls were intensively searched.

The Civil Guard continues to track the area in order to locate the body of little Anna,

which is presumably at the bottom of the sea and

could have come out of the empty bag

, and also that of her father, Tomás Gimeno.

The two bags coincide

with those that Tomás Gimeno boarded his ship 'Esquilón' on the night of the disappearance, according to sources from the investigation.

In turn, they suspect that Gimeno could use an eight-kilo lead belt that

the boat was not found to ballast to the bottom.

The Civil Guard continues with the search in the area in order to locate the body of little Anna.

The mother of the little

girls

,

Beatriz Zimmerman

, always hoped to find the little ones alive and defended

the hypothesis that Tomás Gimeno had escaped with the little ones to some Latin American country

.

He only collapsed after learning of the discovery of the oxygen bottle and the duvet cover, foreseeing this tragic end.

“So many dreams to live my Oli, so much to share together with your sister Anna, the three of you together.

Now my only dream is that we are together and that whatever the future awaits us, nothing separates us ”, was one of the last messages he published on the networks.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez regretted the sad news on his Twitter account, where he said:

"I cannot imagine the pain of the mother of little Anna and Olivia, who disappeared in Tenerife

, in the face of the terrible news that we have just learned. My hug, my love and that of my whole family, who today show their solidarity with Beatriz and her loved ones ".

Beatriz Zimmermann, the mother of Anna and Olivia, the girls who disappeared in Tenerife.

The body was found three days after the sonar found

an oxygen bottle and a sheet owned by Tomás Gimeno

in the same area

.

The agents of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard of Santa Cruz de Tenerife are

investigating whether the oxygen bottle could have been used by Anna and Olivia's father as a method of clothing

to sink the bodies of the two girls.

Chronology of the crime

It was five o'clock in the afternoon on April 27 when

Tomás Gimeno, the girls' father and former partner of Beatriz Zimmermann, launched his macabre plan.

He picked up Anna at the house of the mother of girls aged 1 and 6 years and then went looking for Olivia to a camp which had come in after school.

The agreement was that

at 9 p.m. they would both be home again, but that never happened.

The bond between Gimeno and Beatriz had become very complex in recent months.

According to the local press, the man had had problems accepting the couple's breakup, although

everything worsened when he found out

about his ex's

new courtship

with

Eric Domb, a 60-year-old Belgian.

Tomás Gimeno, the girls' father and former partner of Beatriz Zimmermann.

"I don't want that old man to take care of my daughters,"

Gimeno would have raised in one of the fights that were increasingly violent.

Even last December,

Beatriz came close to denouncing him after an argument got out of control.

Even Eric Domb himself

was attacked by the girls' father, who cornered him in a parking lot.

Tomás Giméno kidnapped his two young daughters, Olivia and Anna.

By 7:30 p.m. on that tragic Tuesday, the accused had already arrived at the Marina Tenerife marina.

Neither the security cameras nor the security guard had detected the presence of Anna and Olivia at their entrance.

Two hours later

, Gimeno was recorded while carrying various items, bags and packages from his white Audi A3 to the boat

.

It was then that he made the call that changed Beatriz's life forever.

"

You're not going to see your daughters anymore,

" the man said and cut off.

At 9:50 p.m. Gimeno made the first of his two trips to the high seas.

Desperate,

Beatriz called insistently but he did not answer the phone

and, after a while, the battery ran out.

Gimeno looked for his daughter Olivia around a school camp and took her with him.

He spent two hours at sea and

on his return he was intercepted by the Civil Guard.

The officers rebuked him for skipping the curfew, but nothing mattered to him anymore.

It was 30 minutes to midnight and

he went to a gas station to buy a charger for his phone and tobacco.

Then he went to the port security guard station and asked him to charge his phone.

From there he made the last call to his ex-wife.

He told her that he had no reason to worry, that he was at home, that everything was quiet and that he had already put the girls to bed.

They agreed that the next day she would take them back with her and at the end of the call she returned to the sea,

from that moment on no one saw her again.

During the early morning, he sent farewell messages to his family and friends who, alarmed, notified the mother of the minors early on April 28.

At 8 in the morning,

Beatriz filed the complaint for the disappearance of the little girls

with the Civil Guard.

A few hours later, the boat was found empty, adrift and without anchor in front of the town of Puertito de Güímar.

Shortly thereafter he found floating a child restraint car seat, which he was using for Anna.

The heartbreaking letter from the girls' mom

On May 14,

Beatriz Zimmermann turned 35 and wrote a letter on Instagram,

where she expressed all the pain and anguish she was going through.

You cannot imagine how I feel every day that passes ... The uncertainty of not knowing how they are ... Of knowing if they are well ...

The anger that they have to suffer this madness when they are two little angels ... ".

"Little angels like all the children in the world. All these mixed feelings make it more difficult every day. But there are you ... The world ...

Let's not allow these things to happen. I am afraid of what to say, what to write, by the repercussions that the father may have.

But what do I do? "

"You cannot imagine how I feel every day that passes ..." Beatriz said in her letter.

"All these uncertainties are very hard ... That is why I ask all of you from my heart to help me find them.

I'm never going to stop because my life would be meaningless ... This is not something that can be overcome precisely because of uncertainty ... [...] ".

Let's not stop until we find them ...

We are going to show that this world can be safer ... where such injustices are not allowed.

Olivia and Anna ... I adore them my precious girls.

I'm going to be strong because they need me strong ”.

Bea.
