At about 1 am today (11th), the police received a report from a man who claimed he was trying to find death in a laundry factory at 99 Fuk Hi Street, Yuen Long.
Rescuers arrived and found that the victim was sitting on the platform in danger.
The firefighters immediately opened the rescue cushion and the police also notified negotiating experts to lobby at the scene. It was not until nearly 6:30 in the morning that the victim dispelled his death and returned to a safe position on his own. After that, he was sent to the hospital by an ambulance for inspection.
According to sources, the victim's last name is Qi (36 years old), speaks Mandarin, and is unhappy due to work problems.
It is reported that he is a former employee of the laundry factory. He was fired earlier due to incidents and reportedly suppressed by high-level officials.
During the jump, the victim contacted the media and sent photos of the dangerous person. The police also asked the reporters on the scene to come in to meet with them and provide assistance. However, when the police officers brought the reporters in, they were refused by the security of the factory.
