Many people were injured in a traffic accident in Yuen Long.
The scene was at the junction of Tai Tong Road and Tai Shu Ha West Road. At about 7 am, it was reported that a K66 MTR bus collided with a taxi at the intersection of the site, causing at least 9 people to be injured.
After receiving the report, the Fire Services Department sent several ambulances to the scene to provide reinforcements. According to reports, most of the injured were not seriously injured.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
It is understood that buses were travelling along Tai Tong Road, while taxis were travelling along Tai Shu Ha West Road.
At the scene, at the intersection of Dashuxia West Road and Datang Road, a "stop" traffic sign was erected and a parking line painted on the ground. Vehicles must stop when they reach the intersection.
The police are investigating whether the accident was caused by drivers who did not follow road signs.
