Two passengers aboard the Celebrity Millenium cruise ship tested positive for COVID-19 on the ship's first departure after the pandemic.

More than 95% of passengers were vaccinated and all had to present a negative test for the virus before boarding.

In the final stretch of the trip, which left from the island of St. Maarten in the Caribbean, the passengers were tested and two of them - out of 500 - tested positive.

Those infected were asymptomatic and remained under observation in their bedroom until the end of the trip.
