This Thursday, the Secretary of the Government of Bogotá reported through a statement that the 43rd day of the national strike in Bogotá left a balance of 68 people injured by violent protests.


The balance was 36 wounded police officers and 32 injured civilians, among the civilians there are 9 injured dialogue managers and a worker from the city authority, two drivers from the SITP public transport service and two people from the human rights verification commissions .

The SITP transport service reported 15 vandalized buses and nine articulated buses suffered the same fate.

So far 26 people have been arrested for vandalism on Thursday.

The Secretariat reported that the protests continued in the sector of the Portal de las Américas where officials from the Bogotá mayor's office suffered attacks by protesters with stones.

Until now, the Secretariat does not report any injuries or detainees from these new protests on Thursday night.
