The police reported two injured people after an accident on the A 95 about two kilometers from the Höhenrain service area.
Höhenrain - A 21-year-old from the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district drove a Daimler C350 CDI on the A95 towards Garmisch on Thursday at around 8.30 p.m.
According to the police, he was too fast on a wet road.
The car skidded and initially collided with the right guardrail.
From there it flung back to the left onto the lane and hit the stone border of the median, then came to a standstill on the left driving lane.
While the slightly injured 27-year-old passenger from Ingolstadt was able to get out of the car herself, the driver was slightly trapped. Because a spinal injury was suspected, the fire brigade cut off the car roof so that the 21-year-old could be freed as gently as possible. Both injured people were taken to hospital by the ambulance service. The completely destroyed Daimer was towed away. The damage: around 15,000 euros. And the one on the guardrail and median wall: around 2000 euros. The motorway was completely closed for about 1.5 hours. The fire brigades from Hohenschäftlarn, Neufahrn, Schäftlarn-Ebenhausen, Wangen and Berg as well as rescue services from Wolfratshausen and Starnberg were in action.
