Anger in the ranks of candidates for health studies, while the Council of State must make a decision within a fortnight. They are, in their great majority, very brilliant pupils, who nurture from an early age the dream of becoming a doctor. But for the first year students of health studies, who are currently discovering their results in the famous ranking - which gives access to medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and midwifery - it's a cold shower. The increased “reception capacities”, promised by the government as part of its reform of health studies, are not there. However, they were promised that the latter, adopted in 2019, would make it possible to diversify the profiles of future health professionals,by transforming the terms of a competition hitherto reserved for math geniuses.
