Ready for the kick-off of Euro 2020 at the Olympic stadium and in Rome you can breathe the enthusiasm and that return to normality that was so missing after more than a year and a half of pandemic. The Uefa Festival was inaugurated in Piazza del Popolo and will accompany the tournament in the capital until 11 July. The Mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi, the president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina, the Minister for Youth Policies Fabiana Dadone and the UEFA EURO 2020 Extraordinary Commissioner Daniele Frongia were present for the ribbon cutting. "Rome is the city of the restart" said the mayor from the stage in Piazza del Popolo which will be able to host a maximum of two thousand accredited people per day to follow the European matches and participate in the organized collateral events.

The Uefa Festival will be divided into three areas: the Football Village, the Fan Zone and the Media Center on the Pincio terrace. "It is an opportunity for young people. A small step to get back to normal. It is also a way to have fun for them as they have been forced into remote teaching and to keep the distance," added the Minister for Youth Policies. In fact, there will be things to do: from the fields set up for playing in Piazza del Popolo, to the cages for foot biliard or teqball.

Inside the Football Village (also in Largo dei Lombardi), there will be the two Coca-Cola hotspots, historic sponsor of UEFA. In the stand in Piazza del Popolo there are many ways to create engagement with the fans and the collaboration with Panini makes everything more captivating. In the new bottles of the Coca-Cola family, for the first time made entirely of recyclable plastic, a Panini sticker will be hidden under the label. Particular attention paid to eco-sustainability by the Atlanta company thanks to the collaboration with Corepla and the Largo dei Lombardi hotspot which will be aimed precisely at raising awareness on this issue. "This great event will be an opportunity to communicate one of our goals, sustainability" said Cristina Camilli,Communication and Institutional Affairs Director of Coca-Cola Italy and Albania.
