Principles of the basic government

Housing: The

basic guidelines also include the government's commitment to act resolutely to curb the rise in housing prices.

The Minister of Construction and Housing will bring to the approval of the Government within 60 days of its inauguration, an orderly plan regarding affordable housing and urban renewal, while paying attention to social, economic, security and safety issues.

It was also stated that the Minister will present another plan for the marketing of 300,000 housing units.



Internal Security: The

agreement states that the government will increase police manpower standards.

The government will also work to strengthen civil rights in investigative and legal proceedings.



Coalition factions have pledged to support the enactment of a "recruitment law" and set the age of exemption from military service at 21. The prime minister and defense minister will consider implementing a national-civil service model for certain populations.

A special committee will be set up to deal with this issue, and it will submit its conclusions within 90 days.

The government will promote the establishment of a university in the Galilee and will also strive to regulate the budgeting of students at Ariel University.
