Nassima and Julien Praillet took over the place three years ago.
The couple in their forties turned their backs on the agitated avenue of flea markets in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis) to flourish with their five children on the banks of the Seine.
They took over "l'Imprévu", a gourmet restaurant in decline in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine in the Yvelines.
“We are located at kilometer zero of the cycle path that connects the Seine to Saint-Germain-en-Laye via the forest,” says Julien, the owner and cook.
Our clientele is a mix of hikers and cyclists.

The establishment, renovated and which offers only local products (via the Jardins de cocagne d'Equalis), became on May 25 the very first restaurant labeled "Accueil Vélo" by the GPS & O Intercommunal Tourist Office.
In the Yvelines, it notably joins the gîte "La Bergerie du Vexin" in Jambville.

The national brand "Accueil Vélo", carried by France Vélo Tourisme and the Regional Tourist Board of the Center Val de Loire, wants to extend over the 500 km² of Terres de Seine territory. By 2025, 126 kilometers of cycle paths and lanes must be created between Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Vexin. The idea is to develop the tourist economy linked to cycling to offer two-wheeled tourists a unique, simple, readable brand. The label makes it possible to welcome cycle tourists at all stages of their journey.

"L'Imprévu" is far from being the first restaurant or accommodation "Accueil Vélo" in Île-de-France (see below). All located less than 5 km from a secure cycle path, the brands thus labeled see their visibility reinforced thanks to the websites of France Vélo Tourisme, the reference route, promotional actions and partnerships with houses of editing. Being labeled means joining a network of more than 5,000 partners who are sensitive to a sustainable development approach.
In Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Julien and Nassima are especially delighted to reopen after long months of confinement.
