The Yau Tsim Police District Anti-Triad Action Team, together with the Tobacco and Alcohol Control Office of the Department of Health and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, launched operations against the epidemic.

Yesterday (11th) night, inspections of restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues in Tsim Sha Tsui revealed that a hot pot restaurant on Po Le Lane, a karaoke bar on Granville Road and a licensed bar on Observatory Road were suspected of violating regulations.

During the operation, the police arrested one person in charge; another summons were issued to two persons in charge; a total of 218 customers were involved in the violation of the "restriction order", and the officers issued fixed penalty notices to them.

Inspector Lei Jiajun of the Anti-Triad Action Team of Yau Tsim Police District said that customers ignored the anti-epidemic regulations and some people were not vaccinated. They called on the public to respect themselves and others and abide by the anti-epidemic measures.
