- Now there is no turning back, the Wolfratshauser Flussfestival will take place from July 9th to 25th. This final decision was made by the culture committee on Thursday. The increasing number of fully vaccinated women and men, as well as the now consistently low incidence rate, appear to have allayed the last few concerns about the feasibility of the river festival. Four weeks before the start of the 17-day series of events, the culture committee could have pulled the rip cord with a cancellation. However, the committee saw no reason to do so at its most recent meeting. "I would say we just pull it off now," suggested Dr. Manfred Fleischer (Wolfratshauser List). Third Mayor Annette Heinloth (Greens), who chaired the meeting on behalf of Town Hall Chief Klaus Heilinglechner (BVW),pointed out the current maximum limit of 400 spectators in the open air. The ticket contingent is still limited to 200 seats in a marquee. If the incidence value remains below 50, there is no obligation to test at events.

Marlene Schretzenmaier from the Town Hall Department City Marketing, who is largely responsible for the organization of the river festival, took part in the committee meeting, but no longer had to give an oral account.
The culture committee finally unanimously commissioned the mayor to hold the river festival from July 9th to 25th.
"We should now reward ourselves and the citizens with events," said Fritz Meixner, spokesman for the SPD / FDP faction, welcoming the decision.
Various sponsors, who support the event marathon with a total of 55,000 euros, also believe in unadulterated festival fun.
