The digital proof of vaccination is coming: What citizens in the Freising district now need to know.

Pharmacies issue vaccination certificates
In order to get the digital vaccination certificate, vaccinated people have to go different ways in the district.
Everyone who comes to the vaccination center in Freising or the branch office in Au in the future will also receive the necessary QR code for the digital vaccination card.
"This is guaranteed by the vaccination center from now on," said district office spokesman Robert Stangl.
Those who have already been vaccinated can contact a pharmacy starting next Monday, June 14th. On the website www.mein-apothekenmanager.de there should then be an overview of all pharmacies in the vicinity that issue the digital vaccination certificate. In this context, Freising's pharmacy spokeswoman Ingrid Kaiser asks for a little patience, especially at the beginning. It is not yet possible to estimate how much additional work the pharmacies will have to do. However, the owner of the Engel pharmacy in Freising-Lerchenfeld has assigned an employee specifically to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. The offer to have a digital vaccination certificate issued is free of charge for citizens. For the pharmacies, 18 euros per document are provided. However, Kaiser emphasizes:“Certainly nobody does that for financial reasons. We see it as our responsibility to make a contribution to fighting the pandemic. "
The German Pharmacists' Association expects the number of exhibiting pharmacies to be in the four-digit range very quickly.
By mid-July at the latest, it should be possible to generate digital vaccination records in all medical practices.
Offer is voluntary and complementary
The software provider is currently working on a digital solution for old cases by the vaccination centers in Bavaria.
This should be available by mid-July at the latest.
The Freising vaccination center therefore asks you to refrain from making inquiries about entering the digital vaccination certificate.
All those who have been vaccinated by their family doctor can only obtain their ID from the pharmacy.
An important note: "The digital vaccination certificate is a voluntary and additional offer," emphasizes Stangl.
If vaccinated persons do not have a digital vaccination certificate or have lost it, the vaccination certificate via the familiar yellow booklet is still possible and valid.
The generated QR code can be read in by a number of apps, including the Corona warning app or the CovPass app developed by the Federal Ministry of Health.
Vaccination sequence according to prioritization
Currently, people in priority group 3 are still being vaccinated in the vaccination center.
Those who fall into priority groups 1, 2 or 3 will still primarily receive a vaccination appointment, even if the prioritization specification has otherwise been lifted, according to the district authority.
As soon as all prioritized citizens have been vaccinated, the sequence of vaccinations depends on the receipt of the registration.
Setting of the Corona telephone
Because of the sharp drop in the seven-day incidence, the district office will shut down the corona phone on Sunday, June 13th.
