The German parliament, the “Bundestag”, extended the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus until next September, after it was scheduled for the end of this month.
The German newspaper Die Welt reported that the Bundestag had adopted a proposal submitted by the parliamentary blocs of the Christian Union and the Social Democratic Party to extend the procedures until September 30.
Another session of the Bundestag is scheduled for next September, before holding its own elections, to decide on a state of epidemic emergency.
And Germany recorded a new rise during the past weeks in the number of infections with the Corona virus, bringing the total to three million and 713,480, and deaths to 89,816.
