The Greens have founded a new local association in the Freising district.

He is led by a woman and a man.

Allershausen

- it was “a pleasant day” - and not just for the Greens district chairman, Maximilian Breu.

On Thursday evening the local association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen was founded in Allershausen.

The local chairman next to Alexandra Bolle is an old friend: Max Raith, member of the Greens since 1984, municipal council in Allershausen since 2014 - but for the PFW.

Around four months ago, the first considerations were made as to whether and how a new local association of the Greens could be established in the Ampertal community.

The matter quickly gained momentum, it was "impressive" what had been achieved in this short time, said District Chief Maximilian Breu at the beginning of the virtual founding meeting.

And Greens MdL Johannes Becher assured the twelve voting members by video message that this OV “Allershausen and us Greens will be good”.

There were two applicants for the male board position

The female position in the duo of local spokesmen took over Alexandra Bolle, who was elected with eleven yes-votes and one abstention. Bolle, who has lived in Leonhardsbuch for 21 years, has been a freelance lecturer, trainer and consultant for around seven years, and has also been a member of the Greens for a year and a half, wants to use her political commitment to "set a counterpoint to unconditional more and more". That must come to an end. And when it comes to women, too, she feels that she is in the best of hands with the Greens, because there equality is “not just on paper”. In Allershausen, they believe, they want to involve people, be transparent about issues and not just be present before elections.

There were two applicants for the position of second local spokesman: Thorsten Klenke and the PFW councilor Max Raith. Klenke, who has lived in Allershausen since 2006, did not want to tackle the many issues that should be tackled with a crowbar, but rather push it slowly, wanted to “question a lot, but not question everything”. Klenke was defeated by five votes to his opponent Max Raith (eleven votes): He came out as a Green member for 37 years, emphasized that he would remain in the municipal council for the PFW until the next local election in 2026. As chairman of the working group on energy and the environment, as energy officer for the community from 2014 to 2020, as a participant in the MIA workshop, he, the studied geographer, botanist and zoologist, has good and deep insights into community politics. He is well connected, but “not a club owner”.

District association provides "start-up financing"

In addition, the twelve eligible voters chose an assessor trio from a quartet of applicants: Lena Berchtold, who studies molecular biotechnology at TUM, received ten votes, Renate Lugmeier, who is highly committed to volunteers, received nine votes, Tomislav Skaric, a regional planner by profession, got eight votes.

Renate Vogt, who turned her back on her comrades last year after decades of membership in the SPD, received just four votes.

The new local association receives EUR 500 "start-up financing" from the district association.

And Raith promised: "We will not disappoint the trust."
