Among all the celebrities and celebrities who competed for a popularly elected position in the June 6 elections, the only winner was the singer and actress Rocío Banquells, candidate for federal deputy of the PAN-PRI-PRD coalition in the City of Mexico.
Among the celebrities who failed to secure any position are: former Miss Universe Lupita Jones, actor Alfredo Adame, singer Paquita la del Barrio and singer and producer Sergio Mayer.
