The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda has restarted 12 wells after completing their maintenance and repair in various regions of the governorate.
The director general of the foundation, Eng. Wael Shukair, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the wells that have been operated since the beginning of this month included Al-Heet 1, Al-Raha 7, Al-Shakrawiya 2, Tal Habs 2, Al-Diyatha 3, Ateel 9, Bard, Al-Tha’ala laboratories 1, Baka 1, Barika 1, Al-Aleqa 1 and Khazema 11, pointing out that the foundation’s workshops In the case of continuous work, including holidays, for the maintenance and repair of wells that fail according to the priorities set, which are determined by the importance and location of the well.
Shukair indicated that during the past few days, a new horizontal backup pump was installed at Umm Al-Rumman Al-Sharqiya station, a new horizontal pump was installed at Mawared Al-Ghariya 3 well, and two horizontal pumps were installed at El-Geneina village water well No. 1 to provide drinking water for subscribers.
The number of wells of the Public Establishment for Drinking Water in As-Suwayda, which are located in the investment, is about 250 wells distributed over the various regions of the governorate.
