In the Loisachtal there will be two new corona test stations from next week, namely in Kochel and Schlehdorf.

They open in the evening two days a week.

It's a testing phase.

Kochel am See / Schlehdorf / Benediktbeuern - As the administrative association Kochel-Schlehdorf announced on Friday, the two planned stations (we reported) are now open: In Kochel in the reading room of the tourist information every Wednesday from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and in the town hall in Schlehdorf every Friday from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

The tests are free of charge, registration is not required.

Both test stations are sponsored by the BRK.

"We're trying now," says BRK district manager Andreas Schäfer.

Schlehdorf's mayor is committed

The helpers were trained on Thursday evening.

“It is now good when a routine arises,” says Schäfer.

In addition, one is connected to the district-wide platform "TestQ".

“We also want to see how the software works.” “A big thank you goes to the volunteers and the BRK district association Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, who make this test station possible through their efforts,” says Kochel's Mayor Thomas Holz.

Schlehdorf's mayor, Stefan Jocher, joins the team of volunteers.

Six helpers are available in the monastery village.

"As with the mayor, you want to do something for the people," Jocher explains his motivation.

His wife also helps.

Marien pharmacy in Benediktbeuern has a lot to do

The only test station in the Loisachtal so far has been the Marien-Apotheke in Benediktbeuern. It is "going really well," reports pharmacist Maren Porzelt. She doesn't just mean the demand for the rapid tests. Customers also have many questions about the new digital vaccination certificate. A total of eight people are busy with the tests in the Marien-Apotheke. "We could have carried out the tests around the clock up until last Monday," she says of the great demand. You can tell that it's getting less, but Porzelt doesn't quite trust the development yet. Above all, the numerous tourists need to be taken care of. "Some are very well organized and book an appointment in advance, but others really come at random and then discover that they need a test for the hotel," reports Porzelt.Cycling tourists in particular would find it difficult to book appointments in advance. "They just stand in front of the door."

Many holidaymakers come from urban regions and are used to the fact that there are more or less test options on every corner, reports Porzelt.

“They are then quite surprised by the situation in the country.” The second clientele are locals who want to go on vacation.

"Here, too, we notice that there is a need to be tested."
