District - The Network Our State and the Bavarian Cultural Heritage Association will work together in the future.

The aim of the cooperation is to convey the value of sustainable food production and to preserve cultural landscapes with joint campaigns and experiences.

According to a press release, the two organizations want to join forces, especially in public relations.

“Our country stands for preserving the livelihoods of people, animals and plants in the region.

The partnership with Kulturerbe Bayern opens up new possibilities for us ”, says Steffen Wilhelm, Managing Director of Unser Land GmbH.

The network Unser Land has been campaigning since 1994 to make regional products from regional producers more palatable to consumers - with the aim of supporting local farmers and craftsmen.

The network consists of a marketing company and an umbrella association with ten so-called solidarity communities, including the Oberland solidarity community in the Miesbach and Bad Tölz / Wolfratshausen districts.

Around 300 producers belong to the network.

As the “Bavarian National Trust”, the association and the Bavarian Cultural Heritage Foundation look after buildings steeped in history, historic parks and gardens. More than 200 volunteers are involved with Kulturerbe Bayern, for example helping out with the maintenance and care of objects. By resolution of the Bavarian State Parliament, Bavarian cultural heritage is funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Science. Our State and Cultural Heritage of Bavaria are currently developing hands-on activities in which volunteers can be deployed or those interested can experience how regional businesses produce food sustainably.

Adriane Schua, chairwoman of the umbrella organization Unser Land and the solidarity community Oberland, is pleased about the cooperation: “Our motto is: Home connects. There is no better way to describe the idea of cooperation between the Bavarian Cultural Heritage and our state. ”Johannes Haslauer, Chairman of the Bavarian Cultural Heritage Association, sees this as follows:“ We take care of places that make Bavaria unique. We are happy to share this collective achievement with other initiatives that value built or grown heritage, sustainable management, traditional craft techniques and the regional production of food To lead cultural landscapes into a good future. The cooperation is an opportunity to rediscover and experience the diversity of cultural heritage in the Free State, adds Bernhard Kellner, Managing Director of Kulturerbe Bayern.
