Fresh milk is now available around the clock in Deining.
The Klasbauernhof has set up a milk vending machine.
Deining - The Deiningers have recently been able to tap fresh milk around the clock at the Klasbauern on Alten Flösserweg 4. “And of course not just the Deiningers,” emphasizes agricultural master Nikolaus Spindler, who operates the milk vending machine.
In the past, interested people came to the farm again and again to ask for fresh milk.
“I didn't want to deny people that,” says Spindler.
He attended seminars and found out what was necessary for this project.
“Everyone always talks about buying regionally.
And so we are bringing the population closer to agriculture again. "
Milk from the machine is certified organic
The class farm with its 45 dairy cows and 30 young animals was built between 1921 and 1924 - and is therefore already being managed by the fourth generation.
“Our milk has been certified organic since 1991,” adds Altbauer Nikolaus Spindler.
The cows are allowed to stand on the pasture for up to 180 days and are only driven into the barn for milking.
The tapping itself is a breeze.
The door to the “Brunimat” is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
"Throw in money, put the bottle in the machine and off you go," explains young farmer Julia Kohler.
If you don't have it: the machine also gives change.
In the interests of sustainability, you should bring your own glass bottle.
"But if you have forgotten it or if you suddenly feel like fresh, chilled milk - we also have some for sale here." The milk price is currently 1.40 euros per liter.
