Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed while playing on Saturday and received CPR during his national team's Euro Cup match against Finland.
The game resumed almost two hours later.
At the request of both teams, the
Union of European Football Federations (UEFA) decided to do it tonight at 8:30 pm
(Central European Time): the last four minutes of the first half were played, then there was a 5-minute break, and they continued with the second half.
Eriksen, 29, suddenly fell to the ground while running near the left touchline at the end of the first half and was immediately surrounded by medical personnel.
His teammates formed a protective wall around him to protect him while the doctors treated him
, just before the break of the Group B game with the Finns.

Later, both teams left the field of play and the officials raised sheets to hide the affected player from the vision of the cameras.
The footballer was later transferred to a hospital and
stabilized,
UEFA announced on Twitter.
"Christian Eriksen is awake and will undergo further tests at the Rigshospitalet. The match is temporarily postponed," announced the Denmark national team.

The images were dramatic.
Many players burst into tears and there were several tense minutes in the midst of silence when Eriksen was carried off the field on a stretcher.
Shortly after, UEFA announced on Twitter that the match was suspended.
At the stadium where the game was taking place, in Copenhagen, Denmark, there were about 16,000 spectators.
Neither team had scored a goal when the incident occurred.
