The collapse of Denmark national team player Christian Eriksen during the game against Finland (Sport1)
It is estimated that the resourcefulness of the players of the Danish national team and the speed of reaction of the medical staff at the stadium, saved the life of Christian Eriksen.
The star of the Danish national team collapsed on the grass in the 43rd minute of the game against Finland, and some of those present on the pitch who were quick to understand the seriousness of the situation, helped him get a quick treatment that apparently helped him end the tragic event with relatively minimal damage.
Denmark captain Simon Kiar who gave Eriksen a heart massage, goalkeeper Caspar Schmeichel who prevented him from swallowing his tongue and the team doctor who gave life-saving treatment for 12 minutes, became the heroes of the evening in Denmark.
Doctor Morten Busen recounted after the game the moments of anxiety, in which he realized that Eriksen was swinging between life and death.
"When we got to Christian he was still breathing and even talking to me, we felt his pulse, but that changed quickly. In one moment the pulse disappeared and we started life-saving treatment."

Busan praised the medical staff who were at the scene and the emergency services, who he claimed "helped fantastically. With the help of the collaboration, we were able to get Christian back to us. He started talking to me again when we evacuated him to the hospital."
Eriksen is expected to remain hospitalized for several days, but Denmark cautiously estimates that "he will be back on his feet in a few days."
At the same time, it is still unclear if and how he will be able to return to the pitches in the near future, or at all.
Inter, Eriksen's team that has been following developments with concern, is still optimistic about Eriksen's chances of returning to play in the near future.
Last night, the CEO of Or Maruta had a brief conversation with Italian journalists and clarified that "Eriksen is in good hands, and his condition is improving.
"A few minutes before I spoke to you, he sent a soothing message on our group WhatsApp, which is a great sign."
"The images we saw were appalling, but we are optimistic," he added.
"Fortunately, I have no dramatic news to announce. The intervention of his teammates and the people present at the stadium prevented a disaster," Maruta added, making clear last night's rumors were untrue: Eriksen had not contracted corona in the past year, nor had he been vaccinated.
Denmark intends to investigate the circumstances of the collapse of Eriksen, who is not even known for heart disease from which he suffered or a history of heart problems in the family.

Denmark national team manager Peter Müller updated at night that Eriksen's condition is good, and that he is also talking to his family and acquaintances and friends who are concerned.
"I feel like every person from Denmark tonight. It was a terrible experience. To see him lying like that on the lawn, and to think about what he went through - it's shocking. But you could say he was one winner tonight, and that's Christian. He has teammates who really love him and are connected. "To him, and I am fucking proud of them for what they did. Obviously we are disappointed with the result, but to be honest, we do not think about it and do not talk about it. Christian is what matters, and fortunately his condition is stable."
