The swearing-in of the government starts today (Sunday), and if there are no changes, at 16:00 a special meeting of the Knesset plenum will open to form the 36th government and elect the new Speaker of the Knesset.
The meeting will be attended by the President of the State, Ruby Rivlin, and the President of the Supreme Court, Esther Hayut.
At the opening of the meeting, Knesset Secretary Yardena Meller-Horowitz will announce: "Honorable President."
Members of the Knesset and those invited will honor the President in standing up.
The current Speaker of the Knesset, Yariv Levin, will invite the designated Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to the Knesset podium in order to present his government, detail its basic guidelines, composition and division of roles among the ministers. The designated Deputy Prime Minister Yair Lapid will be next to speak, and then Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be invited to speak.

At the end of the debate, there will be an election of the Speaker of the Knesset, and the Speaker of the Elected Committee.

After that, the meeting will be closed.
Earlier, at 2:00 PM, a meeting of the leaders of the designated coalition parties will be held, and later Bennett will convene his party members for a final meeting before the vote.
After the inauguration in the plenum, a festive toast will be held at 20:30 in the presence of the elected Speaker of the Knesset, and shortly thereafter the new government will convene for its first session on the occasion of the formation of the 36th Government of Israel. , The traditional photography of the members of the new government will probably take place at the President's House in Jerusalem.
