At 2:54 pm today (13th), a white private car collided with a green minibus on Tai Chung Kiu Road in Sha Tin. The green minibus was knocked over and overturned. The accident resulted in the death of the male driver of the minibus. Eight other people were injured.
A large number of firefighters rushed to the scene for rescue. Traffic police officers were directing the traffic and investigating the cause of the accident. The traffic at the scene was very congested.
After Green Van turned over, the carriage was in a mess, passengers' debris and glass shards were scattered on the ground, and blood stains were also left on the ground.
Mr. Lin, the truck driver who witnessed the entire crash, pointed out that at the time of the incident, a black private car drove towards the New Town Plaza from the Prince of Wales Hospital, and the white private car that followed followed the lights. But hit the green minibus, the green Van was knocked over.
Another witness, Mr. Deng, pointed out that after the Green Van turned over, a suspected male minibus driver was severely injured by the head of the vehicle, and at least 6 to 7 passengers in the vehicle were injured.
Mr. Deng continued that the female driver of the white private car was very flustered afterwards.
