Ankara-Sana

Mustafa Yenroglu, Deputy Chairman of the Democracy and Progress Party in Turkey, criticized the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, pointing out that the crackdowns he launched after the failed coup attempt in 2016 turned the lives of Turks into "hell."

The Turkish "Zaman" newspaper quoted Yenroglu as saying in a series of tweets that the arbitrary security prosecutions on charges of belonging to the Gulen movement turned the lives of hundreds of thousands of Turks into hell.

Yeniroglu referred to the subordination of the judiciary, including the Supreme Court, to Erdogan's regime, speaking of politicized decisions taken by the judiciary in the resolution of lawsuits related to "belonging to terrorist organizations" and association with Fethullah Gulen.

The Republican People's Party talked earlier about the human rights violations resulting from the decrees of the state of emergency announced by the head of the Turkish regime, claiming to confront the perpetrators of the coup attempt, which it used to liquidate its opponents and anyone who opposes its tyrannical policies.

During the past five years, the Erdogan regime dismissed tens of thousands of people from public service under the decrees issued within the scope of the state of emergency declared after the coup attempt on July 15, 2016.

Reports indicate that during the imposition of the state of emergency, arbitrary decisions were issued to dismiss more than 170,000 employees.
