The Love and Loyalty Festival, organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with Aleppo Governorate to celebrate the victory of Dr. Bashar al-Assad in the presidential elections, concluded its activities this evening with a concert by singer Shadi Jamil on the amphitheater of the Citadel of Aleppo.
The ceremony included a group of authentic Aleppo songs and patriotic songs, in the presence of a large audience of the people of the city and lovers of authentic music.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter, singer Shadi Jamil explained that the festival’s title is love and loyalty, and said, “Loyalty to the one who is loyal, and he is President Bashar al-Assad, who said Aleppo is in my eyes, and today the people of Aleppo are rejoicing in fulfillment with joy and happiness in the victory of the leader of the country in the presidential elections.”
He added that he feels happy when he stands on the amphitheater of the Citadel of Aleppo and sings for the people of the city, stressing the importance of this edifice, which was protected and preserved by the blood of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army.
Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the Aleppo Provincial Council, Ahmed Yassin, said that celebrations are taking place today in all parts of the country, including Aleppo, where the people of the city express their joy at the victory that Syria achieved through the presidential election and the victory of President al-Assad in the presidential elections, which is a conclusive evidence of the love and loyalty of the Syrian people to those who protected the country. And he increased his fertility.
Naela Shahoud, director of tourism in Aleppo, explained that holding the festival comes within the Ministry of Tourism’s plan to bring joy back to the people of Aleppo who have persevered and achieved victory over terrorism, and a message to the world that Syria will remain a country of peace and will stand in the face of every conspirator who wants to undermine its sovereignty and independence. And the courageous leadership of President Assad.
The festival was attended by Eng. Nidal Mashfaj, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Talal Khudair, President of the Federation of Syrian Tourism Chambers, and a crowd of social and artistic activities and city residents.
