After a long lockdown break, a concert took place again in the Schafhof for the first time.

It was a perfect mood maker.

Freising

- One had to starve for a long time. For a long time, the summer music stage at Café Botanika in the Schafhof was orphaned. On Saturday the wait was over: with the appearance of Oansno, the summer garden was reopened. And all the places in the secluded garden were taken. Beer benches, large and small tables or even the comfortable chairs - no matter where you settled down: to be able to finally enjoy live music again, to sip a glass of wine in the open air or to be able to eat an organic bratwurst, people had been waiting for a long time .

With the appearance of the Munich quartet Oansno, the summer garden celebrated its awakening from its deep cultural slumber.

The brilliant mixture of reggae, techno, three-song and Balkan pop, based on Bavarian brass and folk music, was the ideal heat-up and mood-maker for an open-air season that will provide many other cultural highlights after the forced Corona break.

Rousing combo offers splendid good-mood songs

And to celebrate the day, the team from Café Botanika had dressed in traditional costumes - no-nonsense leather for the boys, dashing dirndls for the girls.

Mask requirement when strolling around, keeping your distance when serving food and drinks, forms to fill out with the contact details - all of this had to be on Saturday, of course.

But the visitors gladly accepted that in order to finally be able to experience music and entertainment again.

It was a real stroke of luck for the summer garden and the culturally starved guests that titles like “Englischer Garten” or “Isar Dub” suited the occasion, that the rousing combo with its good mood songs influenced and reflected the mood and atmosphere splendidly .

Bavarian attitude to life with a good dash of internationality, a mild summer night outdoors - it's all about to start again.

A number of other events are planned

And the next events on the small but fine stage are already on: On Friday, June 18, Ricardo Volkert will present Flamenco to paella and tapas, on Friday, June 25, the Freising singer-songwriter duo Apollon's Smile will be a part Play at home and on Sunday, June 27th, the Acoustic Caravan will be parked for brunch at the Schafhof from 11 a.m.
