A serious traffic accident involving 1 death and 7 injuries occurred on Tai Chung Kiu Road in Sha Tin this afternoon (13th). The minibus driver was caught between the body and the road and died tragically.
The female driver of the private car involved was later reported to be uncomfortable and sent to hospital. She was discharged after treatment and was later investigated by officers of the New Territories South Department of Transportation. She was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.
It is understood that the female driver, surnamed Chi, was 33 years old. She had already "dumped P" in June last year. Earlier, she sold an Audi A6 private car by herself. Today, she met her husband with a male buyer to interview the car.
At the time of the incident, the female driver drove with her husband and buyer. However, when she drove to Sha Tin Wai Road in the direction of New Town Plaza in the afternoon, she stopped at the junction of Tai Chung Bridge Road and rammed into Green Van, causing Green Van to turn over and cause death and injury. .
The female driver of the private car involved was taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment. She was covered with a white cloth and taken away by the police for investigation, accompanied by the male passenger in the car.

The front of the private car involved was severely damaged, and the safety airbag inside the car popped up. The female driver was slightly injured and sent to hospital. The husband and buyer of the same car were not injured.
The police stated that the vehicle involved in the case would be towed to a vehicle detention center for mechanical inspection.
