Four young people were injured in a car accident on Saturday night in the Dietramszell community.
The driver, a 20-year-old from Holzkirchen, crashed into a tree in his VW Polo.
He had had quite a bit of alcohol.
Dietramszell - According to the police, the Holzkirchner had strayed from the street near Kolbing at 1.35 a.m. and hit a tree.
According to initial findings, in addition to alcoholism, excessive speed was probably also the cause of the accident.
An on-site alcohol test carried out on the driver's premises showed a value of over 1.1 per mille.
A blood sample was taken from him.
The engine was torn from the vehicle by the force of the impact.
The car spun across the street.
In addition to the driver, the three other occupants were also slightly to moderately injured by the impact and were taken to the surrounding hospitals.
There are two women from Sauerlach, aged 18 and 19, and a 19-year-old man from Hausham.
The older model vehicle had to be towed.
The total loss is estimated at 1000 euros.
To care for the injured and to clear the scene of the accident, three ambulances, the emergency doctor and the fire brigades from Endlhausen and Baiernrain with around 30 emergency services were on site.
The driver expects a report of danger to road traffic and negligent bodily harm.
He also has to hand in his driver's license.
