The Palestinians in the town of Beita, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, are waging a battle of existence against the practices of settlers who, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, seized large areas of Jabal Sabih south of the town and established a settlement outpost that threatens to separate the north of the West Bank from its south.

The coordinator of the People’s Committee against the Wall and Settlements, Salah al-Khawaja, indicated that the determination of the Palestinian people to defend Jabal Sabih against settlement plans and Judaization constitutes a crucial stage in confronting the plans of annexation and settlement expansion, pointing out that the occupation does not target Jabal Sabih only, but all the surrounding villages to divide Nablus into several sections.
