Palestinian prisoners' institutions revealed that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 3,100 Palestinians, including 471 children, during the last month.
The Prisoners’ Association, the Prisoner’s Club, the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission, the Addameer Foundation for Prisoner Care and Human Rights, and the Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained in a report carried by Wafa Agency that the occupation authorities arrested 3100 Palestinians last month, including 42 women and 471 children, noting that most These arrests were concentrated in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948, where the occupation forces arrested 2000 Palestinians, including 291 children, in an attempt to suppress demonstrations rejecting the occupation's aggression against Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip.
The report pointed out that the occupation forces arrested 1,100 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 180 children, indicating that most of the arrests were concentrated in occupied Jerusalem.
The institutions indicated that the number of prisoners in the Israeli occupation detention camps reached 5,300 until the end of May, subjected to the worst types of physical and psychological torture, and they live in extremely difficult conditions that threaten their lives.
