Various cultural and artistic paragraphs included in the celebration of the Cultural Day, which was organized by the Suwayda Governorate Council on the stage of the Palace of Culture in the city this evening.
The celebration, which was held in cooperation with the cultural events in the governorate, included the presentation of patriotic poems by the poet Bassem Amr and patriotic songs for the choir of the branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization in As-Suwayda.
The student Catherine Al-Arbeed also presented a prose poem titled The End. The student, Walid Nasser Al-Din, from the branch of the Revolutionary Youth Union, performed a song composed and composed by him.
The activities also included a cultural competition between a team of members of the provincial council and another from the public with various cultural questions.
Head of As-Suwayda Provincial Council Rasmi Al-Aysami indicated that the celebration coincides with a great victory achieved by the Syrians in achieving the presidential elections and the victory of Dr. Bashar Al-Assad in the elections, pointing to the role of culture in the advancement of peoples because it is the supreme need in society, in addition to Syria’s possession of a cultural heritage full of values, art and beauty.
