Seriously hit near the heart, the 21-year-old boy had to be transferred from the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital to that of Plessis-Robinson (Hauts-de-Seine) to be operated on, but his life is no longer in danger.
His friend, also aged 21, who was in the car targeted by the shots, avenue de la République, around 7:30 p.m., was less fortunate.
The young man died on the spot, despite the reactivity of the neighbors.

"He was dealing hash, it's no secret, so it can happen in this kind of environment," says a resident, drinking his strong coffee at the counter of the neighborhood café.
The young man who died, at only 21 years old, was already particularly well known to the police and the judiciary.
After several convictions when he was a minor, always in connection with the legislation on narcotics, he was sentenced in April 2019, according to the Créteil public prosecutor's office, to five years in prison, including three years suspended for violence in meetings resulting in death with no intention of giving it away.
He was just released from prison and was still on day parole.
