The FEHD stated that in the past three days it has conducted joint operations with the police to inspect 43 food and beverage premises, including bars/pubs. No more than two people should be allowed to sit at the same table for the food or drink to be consumed, for a period of three days (one case) and seven days (six cases).

If the person in charge of the catering business or the manager of the listed premises violates the Regulations, he can be prosecuted. Once convicted, he can be fined up to 50,000 yuan and imprisoned for six months.

In addition, customers who violate the upper limit of the number of people sitting at the same table in the catering premises may be fined 5,000 yuan due to Chapter 599G; customers who eat or eat at non-table areas or do not wear masks may violate the "Prevention And Control of Diseases (Wearing Masks) Regulations (Chapter 599I) was fined a fixed fine of $5,000.
