Syrian students of the Sharia Basic Education Certificate and Preparatory Certificate from Lebanon continued to take their exams for the 2021 school year, as they took the Arabic language exam today in a calm and comfortable atmosphere, according to what they confirmed.

While the SANA camera monitored the atmosphere of the exams at the center of Hosh Jid Mixed School in the Zabadani area in Damascus countryside, which is equipped to take exams for Syrian students coming from Lebanon, the Assistant Director of Education in Damascus Countryside for Basic Education Affairs Fakhri Al-Jallab explained that the number of students coming reached 290, including 55 applicants for the General Secondary Certificate. and 235 for the Basic Education Certificate.

Al-Jallab indicated in a statement to the SANA delegate that all the equipment was secured within the examination centers and the hosting centers, including psychological and health support, in addition to strengthening courses before each subject to help students, within the framework of the joint efforts between the Ministries of Education and Health in cooperation with international organizations and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.

After they finished the exam today, the students' opinions about the questions varied, as some considered them easy and comprehensive for the Arabic language curriculum, while others found them difficult because they had been away from studying for years. The student, Fatima Muhammad Khalaf, confirmed in a statement to SANA that the exam atmosphere was comfortable and the questions were appropriate, while the student Ahmed Sharbaji indicated his determination. And his insistence on obtaining a certificate of basic education to complete his education and obtain a secondary certificate and achieve his ambition.

The student, Reham Orabi, indicated that she prepared well for the materials before they came by following the educational platforms and the Ministry of Education website, while Reham Al-Kurdi indicated that the questions were easy, especially the poem and grammar questions were suitable for all levels of students.

The student, Abdul Rahman Abu Helmeh, noted the hosting centers that are organized and served with everything the students need, and thanked everyone who gave them this opportunity to apply for exams and obtain a certificate of basic education among the student Hamza Zakani from Daraa Governorate and residing in Lebanon that despite his interruption for a period of study, but he was able to rectify what He missed through the assigned sessions before each subject in the hosting centers.

The student, Sana Al-Khoos, agreed with them, who indicated the great interest in the hosting center, especially in the issue of hygiene and sterilization, pointing out that they underwent intensive lessons before each subject.

From the two centers of Al-Rawda and Yabous, in which the foreign students reside, the director of the educational complex in Zabadani, Ahmed Ismail, confirmed that all the necessary needs were secured for the students coming from Lebanon, who were distributed to three examination centers and three hosting centers that were prepared to receive them in the border towns of (Jdeidet Yabous and Kefir Yabous) and the Rawda area Al-Zabadani, with all the requirements of food, transportation, health care, and sessions for all students to review materials before submitting them.

The students, Muhammad Jihad Diab, Esraa Al-Sabbagh and Sarah Al-Mulla, expressed their thanks and gratitude for providing all the requirements for their residence and taking into account the measures to prevent the Corona virus to protect them, in addition to the intensive study sessions within halls equipped with modern educational technologies, which they benefited greatly from before applying for the exam.

Basic education exams continue until Wednesday, June 16, while Sharia preparatory exams end on Sunday, June 20.
