Denmark's midfielder Christian Eriksen, who collapsed and paralyzed the world of football during Saturday's game against Finland for Euro 2020, will remain hospitalized for observation "still this Monday and perhaps also Tuesday" in the main hospital in Copenhagen , reported his representative, Martin Schoots.
The agent, contacted by the Italian newspaper
La Gazzetta dello Sport
, said that the footballer "is in a good mood, accompanied by his wife and parents" and that he will undergo further medical studies to
"understand what happened", something that according to Schoots continually asks the director of the Rigshospitalet in the Danish capital
.
Schoots reported that the Inter Milan footballer
"is moved"
by all the messages of support received after his accident at the Parken Stadion.
And, according to what Schoots let out in dialogue with the Italian sports newspaper,
he warned his teammates that he is not going to give up and that he does not rule out returning to training.

"Half of the planet contacted us, everyone was concerned. He was especially moved by the arrivals from the world of Inter; not only from his teammates, with whom he spoke in a chat, but from the fans. Christian does not give up, he and his family thank the whole world. "
Eriksen, 29, suddenly collapsed 42 minutes into the first half and was rescued by doctors on the pitch.
The players of the Denmark national team immediately formed a circle around him to prevent the capture of images by television, which managed to show him lying on the grass with his eyes open.

"He had left and we gave him a heart massage to revive him," the Denmark national team's doctor, Morten Boesen, revealed on Sunday.
And he added: "At the moment we have no explanation. It is one of the reasons why he is still hospitalized."
After the care, the footballer was transferred to the main hospital in Copenhagen and when he left the field on a stretcher a photo could capture him already in a conscious state, with his left hand on his forehead.
Already more recovered in the clinic, he made contact with his teammates by video call and asked them to continue with the game, which had been suspended with the score 0-0 and finally ended in victory for Finland (1-0).
