The collapse of Denmark national team player Christian Eriksen during the game against Finland (Sport1)
Less than 48 hours after it collapsed on the lawn, more and more details about Christian Eriksen's condition are becoming clear.
Last night (Sunday) it was clarified that he did indeed suffer a heart attack, even though there were no early signs of it and despite the fact that his family has no history of known heart problems.
Eriksen is still recovering and remains hospitalized, although his condition is defined as stable and he is communicating with the environment.
Last night Eriksen even gave a short interview to the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, conducted with the help of his personal manager, who prevents the context from talking to journalists directly for the time being.
"I thank everyone for their support, and want to make it clear that I do not intend to give up," Eriksen said.
"I feel much better, but still want to understand what exactly happened to me. It is very important for me to thank everyone who helped me in those moments, and also in the moments that followed."

Last night, Inter fans prepared a demonstration in support of Eriksen, and appeared at the club's training complex with signs encouraging communication.
"Christian, the stands will always continue to be by your side," they wrote, adding a rare sign of support for Simon Kiar, a sworn rival player for Milan, who became a hero thanks to the resourcefulness he showed during the event.
