The former Czech diplomat, Miroslav Bielica, stressed that the essential part of the responsibility for the crisis in Syria and the suffering in it lies with Western governments, which have spent billions of dollars on arming and financing armed terrorist organizations and on the media war against Syria.

In a new book he prepared entitled “Memories of Syria” and published in the Czech capital Prague, Belica stressed that the war and foreign interference in Syria’s affairs have caused it enormous human tragedies and great material losses and damages, and that it “will remain for many years a black spot in the conscience of the world,” stressing that the so-called so-called The “Arab Spring” did not achieve anything positive for the region, and even this name originated in the West, not in the Arab countries.

In the 489-page book and dozens of photos, Bilitsa talks about the depth and rootedness of the Syrian-Czech relations, his impressions of Syria, where he spent four years working at the Czechoslovak Embassy in Damascus, and the history of Syria up to the contemporary period.

Belica worked as a diplomat in the Middle East for 15 years, during which he also held the position of Chargé d'Affairs at the Czech Embassy in Iraq and Deputy Director of the United Nations Department in the Czech Foreign Ministry.
