Invited on the set of “Talk Le Figaro”, LR vice-president of the Île-de-France region, Geoffroy Didier, expressed his enthusiasm for the approach of the regional elections scheduled for June 20 and 27.
While a poll published by
Le Figaro
(
see our editions of June 14
) places the outgoing president, Valérie Pécresse, largely in the lead, the elected praised the
"intelligence and strength"
of the candidate.

"Valérie Pécresse is a rock, a force, a rampart, a quiet force",
enumerated the MEP.
A few days before the local election, Geoffroy Didier set about destroying the arguments of the opposing camps.
Starting with those of the presidential majority, including the candidate, Laurent Saint-Martin, struggling to take off in the polls.
"The vote of LREM in this regional election in Ile-de-France is useless,"
he said.
“Everything they offer, we have already done or are already doing.
It is a useless vote because it would dilute the messages. ”
France is on the right, we are the compass to follow.

"Mr. Bardella is an apparent new generation, but behind still hides a nauseating party, ”
continued the MEP about the candidate of the National Rally, tipped to be the main challenger to the outgoing president.
“The RN is experiencing problems and has no interest in us solving them,”
he added.

On the left side, nothing to worry about the outgoing vice-president either.
With three candidates running in the first round - Audrey Pulvar (PS), Julien Bayou (EELV) and Clémentine Autain (LFI) - and supposed to unite in the second, the left
"loses its republican compass",
according to the elected official.
“In this regional election, there is either the one that really carries the message of reform, protection and Republic. And then there is the extreme right and the extreme left ”,

While the ex-LR president was able to show an interest in the presidential election, Geoffroy Didier also mentioned the appointment process that will have to be put in place to invest a candidate.
"We have talents, we are going to have pillars of the right, regional presidents relegitimized by the ballot box, I hope on June 27,"
he stressed.
