On the other hand, total silence was observed after the far more justified public concerns of members of the Jewish community of Béziers and its mayor Robert Ménard. A letter of detailed threats and anti-Semitic insults was indeed sent on June 9 to the president of the Israelite association threatening the synagogue of the town. The mayor of Béziers complained publicly on television about these threats which he was authorized to take more seriously, in view of tragic precedents, than the fantasies of a Youtubeur.
And yet, for ideological reasons, the ideologized press preferred to silence the former and give extreme publicity to the latter.
An even more improbable example: a serious and exceptional event recently happened in Paris which was the subject of particular media coverage by part of the conformist media.
