The offices of the IHU Mediterranean, in Marseille, were the subject of a search Monday morning, according to information from France Bleu Provence.
A judicial source mentions to the radio a dozen police officers present, "
accompanied by a public prosecutor
".
They intervened in the offices located "
on the fourth floor
" of the institute headed by Professor Didier Raoult, another source specifies.
In progress all morning, the search is now over, said the press secretary of the IHU Mediterranean to BFM TV, who indicates that documents have been recovered.
Me Brice Grazzini, Didier Raoult's lawyer, for his part said to the news channel that “
this search has nothing to do with
” his client, who is “
not implicated
”.
For the time being, the object of this search is not known.
