Berchtesgaden - A mountain hiker was stuck in the Berchtesgaden Alps * for almost two days until rescue workers freed him.
The 49-year-old was almost uninjured when the mountain rescue services * and the police found him on Monday night (June 14) on Hohen Göll near the Austrian border, said the Berchtesgadener Land district association of the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK).

The two later separated on their hike because the man reportedly wanted to turn back.

They finally found him at about 1,900 meters above sea level on a steep mountain face.

According to the BRK, the 49-year-old man wore a shirt and a down jacket and shorts.
His sneakers were completely soaked.
Because his cell phone no longer had reception and the battery was empty, he could not get any help.
It was said that the hiker lost his backpack on the way.
Except for a few abrasions, he was uninjured.
