Neighbors of the spiritual teacher who committed suicide before an investigation into sexual assault: "He was a violent bully"

Two days have passed since Erez Arjuna Carmel, a spiritual teacher in his 60s from Pardes Hanna-Karkur, was found lying lifeless near the Mei Kedem site in Alona Park.
According to the suspicion, Arjuna Carmel put an end to his life due to an investigation by the media body "Politically Calls" which was to be published in the near future, and in which he was accused of sexually assaulting dozens of women over the years.
The search for Arjuna Carmel began last Thursday, after his brother announced his absence and that he feared for his safety.
Following the report, large police forces with the help of volunteers began to work to locate him, and finally found his body lying on Friday morning around 08:00 in the Alona forest near the settlement of Givat Nili.

Compared to his acquaintances from the artists' stables, many who knew him among his neighbors, describe a completely different person. According to them, life next to him was an ongoing nightmare. "We had a very difficult neighborly relationship with him here," said his neighbor, who preferred to remain anonymous. "Most of the time they got into confrontations and even violence on his part. From the beginning when he moved here, he used to walk around naked as on the day he was born in the yard and near the house.
"All days of the week many people came to his house who parked their car in a way that did not allow passage and sometimes even blocked the entrances to our houses, we warned him about it - and he chose to accuse us of recklessness and harm to his livelihood and even threatened me and my husband," she claimed.
"One day he was having a big conference for his patients and because we did not allow him to park in our backyard he was angry and the next morning I found my vehicle with four punctured wheels, of course the complaint to the police led to nothing because he denied," she said.

According to the neighbor, "life in the neighborhood to him was very difficult." She explained that "he used to defecate in the open in front of the houses even in daylight hours, it is a definitely unpleasant sight and we commented on it but he went on his own." She added that "a high percentage of his patients were women of all ages, they stayed at his house for many hours, some would leave only the next day or after the weekend, God knows what was inside the apartment. Living next door to him was a real nightmare. He was married to a Circassian girl "She suffered from him until she ran away from him. We heard about his death in the media and then we saw policemen here, nothing with this man will surprise us."
Another neighbor of Arjuna Carmel, who also preferred to remain anonymous, said: "As you can see, the street here is quite isolated and is actually on the last line in the area and kisses a wooded area, so he chose to live here. There is a rural, pastoral atmosphere. Of his audience. "
He described that "throughout the period the peace of the settlement in general lived here and this area in particular was completely disturbed. He acted like a bully for everything and as soon as he did not like something he reacted violently."
The neighbor noted that Arjuna Carmel "once threw all the garbage in front of our house and once invaded our yard with threats because of the parking arrangements here. People came here who sometimes smoked drugs while waiting for their guru."
Another example that the neighbor mentioned in his remarks was about "a case where a couple who came to him had full sex in the car in front of passers-by. More than once we considered selling the house and moving away, there were moments when the nightmare was unbearable. I'm sorry it ended his life."
