What future for Île-de-France?
And above all, how to bounce back from the health crisis?
The six main regional candidates will share their project on Tuesday evening, from 7:30 p.m. during a debate evening organized in the
Figaro
studios
, in partnership with the Medef Île-de-France CPME.
The event, hosted by Yves Thréard, deputy editor of
Le Figaro
, will be broadcast live on our site.
Clémentine Autain (LFI), Jordan Bardella (RN), Julien Bayou (EELV), Valérie Pécresse (Libres!), Audrey Pulvar (PS) and Laurent Saint-Martin (LREM) will thus have to position themselves on seven themes, defined by the federations professionals and the regional Medefs. Namely: "to decide and act with us", "to revive the territory through investment", "to make the ecological transition an economic opportunity", "to reorient the development of the territory", "to boost the perspectives of young people", " move from the era of transport to that of mobility ”,“ restore our food sovereignty ”.
In a forum, Daniel Weizmann, president of Medef Île-de-France, underlines that
“the health crisis has revealed flaws”
whether on the economic level -
“100,000 jobs lost in 2020”
for the region- or on the well-being of Ile-de-France residents. He recalls that during the first confinement,
"more than 200,000 Parisians decided"
,
"in a few hours"
,
"to change air to find spaces better suited to family life".
According to him, the 2021-2027 term
“can constitute a historic opportunity to respond pragmatically and ambitiously to the economic, societal and environmental challenges of this century of upheaval”.
