At around 3:30 a.m., the officers received a number of calls from observers who saw three young people in Christian-Wildner-Strasse hand over car mirrors to the vehicles parked there.
When the employees of the police inspection arrived at the scene of the crime in Nuremberg * East, they discovered that 20 cars were damaged.
The perpetrators not only wiped off the mirrors, but also tore off windshield wipers and scratched the paintwork on the vehicles.
The police have not yet been able to provide information on the total amount of damage.
