The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 613 new infections and 31 deaths from the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement, "The total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 27,795, and the total deaths have reached 15,654.
Mujahid indicated that 701 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovered to 2017,39 people until today.
